This Privacy Policy applies to the Glide website and application service, governing the use of services provided by Glide to its users.
Whenever we collect information that could be used to personally identify you, we will explicitly ask for your provision and permission. This policy ensures that you are fully informed and consenting to the collection of your personal data. Such requests occur when explicit confirmation of your permission is required to proceed, such as signing in with your Google account or managing your billing profile.
You always have the option to grant or withhold permission for us to process your information. If you opt not to provide essential information required for our service (such as Google authentication or billing details), we will not be able to grant you access to the features of Glide that depend on this information.
Glide operates with a modern cloud-based architecture to deliver high-agency capabilities. When you invoke commands or trigger workflows, payloads containing screenshots, active application contexts, and voice or text prompts are transiently transmitted through our secure backend to our AI providers. We do NOT store or persist your prompts, chat history, or screen contexts anywhere on our servers. Payloads are processed on-the-fly to return your response and are immediately discarded.
We collect and retain limited data necessary for accounts and subscription management:
Glide relies on third-party AI partners (including Anthropic, OpenAI, and ElevenLabs) to power assistant features, voice outputs, and system actions. Payload contexts are securely proxied to these partners for immediate response generation. We do not sell your data under any circumstances.
All transient payloads and retained credential metadata are encrypted during transit (using Transport Layer Security/TLS) and protected with industry-standard security software and practices.
We retain account and billing identifiers for as long as necessary to provide you with Glide's services. All personally identifiable information will be deleted upon account deletion. Following your request, your account data will be permanently purged within 14 days, except where extended retention is required to fulfill legal compliance obligations.
